Avs




		It was wonderful as always to spend time with family and friends in Denver. We always look forward to spending time at our home in Parker. The highlights of this trip though revolved around hockey. Colorado Avalanche Hockery to be precise. We went to four games (they won two and tied one and despite Disco's insistence, we won't mention who they lost to). Most of the family, including Arnie, attended an Avs practice on March 16. Turns out we attended on team photo day. We think the photo below, taken with Larry's digital camera, is the first "published version" of the new team photo.


		I'd include photos of the practice - but the official PR people asked us to stop taking pictures. Oh well... We did get photos of Arnie at practice. Hope you like his uniform - Roy signed his helmet (a goalie mask with 33 of course!), Bourque signed his jersey.

Following practice, Arnie and I got a few autographs. Arnie was shameless enough to get Ray Bourque to sign his jersey. It seemed right to have an old Bruin sign a young bruin... I got my jersey signed by 13 players including Patrick Roy, Joe Sakic, Sandis Ozolinsh, Dave Andreychuk, and Milan Hejduk.
